Which Raynox?

Hi All,

I'm looking at getting a Raynox to go with a 55 - 200 lens on my Nikon D5000 and also to use with a Tamron 90mm macro lens for extra magnification.

I'm not an expert at macro but enjoy it and like a bit of a challenge. I am interested in getting shots of individual snowflakes (amongst other things) so, the question is, should I go for a DCR-150 or a DCR-250?

250. I'm not sure why you'd go for the 150?

Actually, there is a good reason to go for 150 - it has less magnification hence it is easier to work with.

And you don't have to get quite so close to your subject, a bonus if it's an insect your trying capture, most will be gone before you're in range with a 250.

Yeah, the 150 is a good little tool as well, I have both. Just recommend the 250 due to the snowflake reference
