Yes
i'm only asking because i bought a (51 plate) VW Golf Estate for work so i could throw everything in it without worrying about it getting messed up. Well, it's a great car except... the MW doesn't work on the radio!! I'm a Talksport man and i listen to it all the time... but now i'm resigned to bloody Rihanna, The Wanted, Lady Ga Ga and all their mates as i flick furiously though the FM channels trying to find something worth listening to :bonk:

i'm looking on ebay for a VW gamma radio so i can bring back some sanity to my driving time :D

So what do you guys listen to?

The Home Service, dear boy.

bloody Rihanna, The Wanted, Lady Ga Ga and all their mates  Bit of radio 2 between 10-12 cant stand moaning jeremy vine so back to radio1 till 2pm then back over to radio 2 for the rest of the day :geek: My work mates very fond of the older music so i put up with radio 2 to keep him happy

Talksport - I have it on pretty much all the time.

One of our cars is rubbish when it comes to MW reception so I often pick which one I'm driving based on how long I'm going to be in the car for LOL

Talk anything......and sometimes Radio 2 and always radio 4 LW for TMS and Radio 4 for 'I'm sorry I haven't a clue'

Radio 2 all the way here in the car, and at my desk when in the office alone - strangely It's on Right now!! :)

Radio 2 to wake up to - Chris Evans brekkie show... but other than that, I don't bother with radio. And less so when Richard Madeley takes Chris Evans' place...

my sentiments exactly. i was just getting into the Chris Evans thing when that monster Madeley stepped in.... i listened for the first couple of days to see what pearls of wisdom he would come out with... but it never materialised :gag:

Indeed lol

Radio 2 in the car but at home mostly the Chill station on sky radio, if i'm at home i have this on through the TV pretty much all day, no talking no adverts just back to back chilled out music all day long, helps keep me sane, just wish i could get it in the car when i need calming down lol

Radio 2 for Chris Evans (and I actually like Richard Madeley too), but cant stand Steve Wright. R4 can be interesting too.

depending on which site i am on it can be radio 1 (loath it with a passion) radio 2 which i love or island FM the local staion over here which is alot of the time 80's stuff

spike

radio 2
6 music
planet rock
absolute radio
smooth radio [yes i know its a bit softy] :D

If I'm on my own then it's CDs all the way.......

The problem is I give people lifts to and from work and they just don't appreciate House\Garage\Drum & Bass so the radio has to go on and I listen to Heart Essex.....

At least has reasonable traffic reports and the banter between the presenters is entertaining, other than that the music gets right on my t1ts.........

#I got the moves like Jagger, I got the moves like Jagger oh oh oh ooooohhhhhh like Jagger#

It doesn't affect me at all

I have to agree with you there. Been good the last few day's when Wrighty's been unable to do his show :)

Whatever my wife has it on. Haven't a clue, and I've never bothered trying to work out how to change it.

ant stand him neither - was even worse when his daughter was in the skating :bang:

I gave him a day

:shake: - cant stand SW neither - its NOT the big show anymore, Chris Evans has that spot now along with Simon Mayo & the collective esp at 1740 when its confession time :woot:

I like R4 :$ mainly for the Archers & the plays (on @ 2-3) and sometimes at 11.30 if there's a comedy one on - did like Air pressure as that was quite funny (sorry going on a bit now)

Radio 2 ever since Radio 1 declared that I was too old to listen to them.

Grew up with Steve Wright etc so no hardship for me & no adverts!!

Radio 1 Chris Moyles in the AM
Radio 1 Scott Mills on the way home

i don't listen live, but the podcasts of absolute radio shows are very good. I find it much better than talk*****e or 5 live for phone in style radio. other than that r4 or round these parts Nostalgie FM

Radio 4. FM usually, LW during test matches.

Radio1 on all day in the office

Your employer has a PRS licence, I take it? ;) (or you listen on a personal portable device using headphones)

FM wise it's Radio 4. I find I'll generally surprise myself by enjoying things I wasn't expecting.

At work, with DAB, it's Planet Rock all the way. Awesome.

Ian.

Radio 5 live and newly discovered talk sport excellent .

NOT radio 1. Classic FM mostly, except it has pretty poor reception in most places, or my radio is not working properly.

I'd get some decent new radio/cd/mp3 player for the car instead of an out-of-date OEM one.

Radio2 is what both car radios are tuned to and I try to keep SWMBO's fingers away from the buttons that change the station. Got a DAB set just outside the computer room and that's also pretty much stuck on R2.

1 year out ! ' Ken do you mind if i say a few shout outs' ' yeah all right, tut tut, if you must- get on with it, mumble mumble

here here - love Radio 2, but have a pathological HATRED of RM - to the extent I don't listen to him in the mornings.

Absolute Radio. On DAB.
Get a digital one. The difference is wonderful. I have one in my tractor.

Real XS (previously known as 106.1 Rock radio) for me. Unfortunately it's only a local station so their range is limited unless you can listen online or have a DAB radio.
Occasionaly listen to planet rock.

BBC 6 Music, all the way!

I followed Radcliffe and Maconie from Radio 2 (although in the car where I've no DAB it's still R2).

It's a personalities station. Sean Keaveny's breakfast show is brilliant, Lauren Laverne has fantastic taste and truly loves music, and Radcliffe and Maconie do what they've always done, although I now have to use 'listen again' when I get home. Some of the one offs and short-run specialist shows are truly fantastic too. Sure it's still a pop station, although it's done with taste and a fair bit of quality stuff is snuck in, and at the end of the day if I want only my tastes served I'll listen to my own music.

Radio 5, Absolute, Classic FM, Jackie (SW London) and Planet Rock on DAB.

I wouldn't give Talk***** the time of day, and Radio 2 has a dreadful motormouth/music ratio.

During the day, Radio 4. BTW why is it called Radio 4, are they any other ones?

During the night the World Service is on all night.

Dave

Agreed, got a wee portable radio for 5 live when I'm out shooting a football game on a Sat, but got into 6 Music really quickly and I love it. Some decent music new music (Where I first heard Emmy The Great) and some classic music.
