A question I'm sure has been asked many times in different ways:

I'm a very amateur tog but learning all the time and I have the bug; I have spent approx £3000 on camera, lenses and stuff (so far); I currently use Elements 6. Am I going gain a lot more from buying eg. Lightroom 3?

That's the question!!

Thanks for listening:)

Why don't you download the trial have a play and find out for yourself.

I keep getting told I should use Lightroom and have had a few usefull pointers but I just don't get on with the s/w and prefer to go through image by image in CS4, it's down the individual and what you prefer as you worflow solution...

The develop module in Lightroom has a multitude of tools. It's probably one of the best PP tools on the market for handling images. Bear in mind though it's not a pixel editing programme . If you want to clone , comp or other procedures you'll need a suitable application such as Photoshop or Elements.

Bear in mind that a new version of Lightroom will set you back some £220.

Before you download a trial version, have a look at the various tutorials on the web before you start, this will make the 30 day trial more effective.
