Im not to clever at the pp process, and wondered if you guys could point me in the right direction of a good book i can get my hands on, so i can learn the ways and start playing with my images abit more.............:D
Im using adobe photoshop CS4

Thanks

I third it ...
and even though I have the CS2 version nook (and yet I'm using CS4) it is still incredibly useful.

Ive got the Kelby CS3 version, its ok. I think the CS4 version has new stuff like HDR....Its £14.99 from Amazon at the mo, good price.

I like Scott Kelby too - CS3 version, in my case. Well worth the money. It's not a book to read in one sitting !
Also Martin Evening gets good reviews - can't comment personally as I haven't read it yet but intend to.

I am interested in getting one too. For cs4 which would you recommend out of the 2 I found:

1) The Adobe Photoshop CS4 Book for Digital | Scott Kelby

2) Photoshop CS4 Down and Dirty Tricks-Scott Kelby

I guess it all depends on your level of ability. I found that 'Photoshop CS4 in easy steps by Louis Benjamin' to be the best book I could find for someone who only knows the basics. Lots of pictures and straight to the point.

Check out Martin Evenings books as well. I prefer his books and writing style.

I recommend joing NAPP too... there is a MOUNTAIN of excellent bite sized tuition on their library.... books are good but you cant beat a video of someone showing you "how to" in Photoshop.
