Which online course ?

Apologies if this is in the incorrect category. I have owned my EOS60D now for sometime. Although, only recently have I had the time to have a play around with it again. I am pleased with some of my results but I really would like to take my photography to the next level. I feel I am missing out on information and would like to learn maybe via an online course. This will be better for my timescales.

Can anyone recommend the best options to take?

Hi, If you plenty of money just type into Google on-line photography courses however if money is tight go to youtube and type in Canon 60D tutorial or Photography tutorial
The first one that came up was 30 minutes long

Thanks for the reply, yeah i have looked in search engines, although i was really looking for a recommendation to which course before i shelled out any hard earnt cash.

I have recently completed the Open University Course, T189. I think it is being run for the last time soon, so you may have missed the chance. You get a free copy of Lightroom with the course which is a bonus.

Many people on my course were just moving from a point and shoot, though there were some very experienced and talented photographers. There is a lot of peer review of images and you are given weekly tasks. Level of participation is up to you and there is only one final assignment. I cannot say if it would be the right course for you. I would have liked something slightly more advanced, but it was a lot of fun and I did learn a few things

I think if you click as if you're going to register, the price will come up. Around £220 I think it was for the 10 weeks. It includes Lightroom and you can download all of the material, so you can still use it after you've finished the course. There are quite a few videos which I felt were very good. There is an online forum and an online critique area where you post your photos each week. There isn't an awful lot of input from tutors, but there was a lot of informative discussion.

There is also the Photography Institute where you work more at your own pace and I think it's a years course, but I believe that is aimed at people who want to make a business out of photography.
