which one?

Hi,
I want to start getting into taking portraits as I have a babe on the way and I have afew kids in the family. I will also take it abit further, what I want to know is what kit would be best? I have picked these two so far:
Interfit INT183 EX150 Mark II Three Head Kit

I picked this one as I can get it discounted by £80

SmartFlash 3-head Softbox/umbrella Kit + background

this one will be almost be £100 more.

Is there much difference?

any help would be great.

Go with the Smartflash, build quality is much much better than the interfit.. I looked at the 150 kit in Jessops, then looked at the smartflash on a recommendation at Focus.

Prolly the SmartFlash.

But if you get three heads, start with just one and a reflector. It's really all you need. Less is more and all that.

Add the other lights only once you've got the one light thing nailed.

yes the "key" (pun intended) thing about lighting is to always remember KISS

keep it simple, stupid. this philosophy has helped me through all sorts of purchases from lenses to lighting.
