I after a new mac ,the one I'm using at the moment is a 21 inch(2011) 2.5 i5,20gb with a Amd radeon . I would like a 27 inch screen but can't decide what spec to buy this will be for photo edits mainly .
 
How much money have you got?
Just looked on the Apple site they are doing a buy back deal at the moment

Cheers just tried the trade in $120 no thanks will keep it as a second display for that price

I got myself an 27" iMac i7, 5K, 32GB and it delivers very well!

I’ve asked about this recently. The general opinion was SSD and as much RAM as you can get (though on the 27 inch it’s a simple update). SSD on the newer 27 inch iMacs is a difficult task because the screen is secured by adhesive tape.

If you get the iMac, order it with the SSD pre-installed but
get the RAW from an other source… waaaay cheaper! :cool:
