Which new lens?

Hi all, I am coming into a little bit of money soon (Around £900). I was thinking of buying a new lens. I would love a cannon 70-200 f2.8 is usm, after using fraggle101s at the london meet, so much different to my tamron, but the price tag is to much.
How does the ef 70-200 f4 l usm compare? What other lens would you suggest?
currently I have

canon 50mm prime
canon 28-90mm (from an old film camera, dont really use)
canon 18-55mm kit lens
Sigma 10-20mm
Tokina 100mm f2.8 macro lens
Tamron 70-300 f4-f5.6, Came with kit,

I have the 70-200 F4L non IS and it is great, have you considered the 70-200 F2.8L non IS which will be cheper than the IS version.

Edit if you try Kerso on here you should be able with luck to get the 70-200 2.8 non IS under your budget.

Think i need the IS as will mainly be using free hand. Also like the blurring from the 2.8, can i still get that from a f4.

May be worth asking others but my F4 is Non IS and I very rarely use it on a tripod and have had no issues due to lack of IS. would imagine the 2.8 Non IS would be similar.

I think you just need to ask yourself what it is you'll be using it for and what is important to you. I'm sure the 70-200 F4, F4IS, F2.8, F2.8IS comparison has been done a thousand times before.

After reading some reviews i am considering this lens, Tamron 70-200mm F2.8 Di LD (IF). I know it wont be as fast as the canon, but good price and reviews are good. Has anyone used this lens and a canon f4.? how do they compare?
