Can anyone help me decide which model to purchase?
Thinking between the Sony SLT-A37 and the SLT-A58K
 
or a different model with a similer price range of below £500:)
 
more info required, what do you shoot etc.
 
I like to take pics of my 2 dogs, scenery shots and views.
Nothing to elaborate really, just take pics for fun really, a hobby.
 
Have you looked at the A57? It's currently ~ £430 with the 18-55.
 
There's a new Sony Nex F3 with 18-55 lens for £289.95 from slr hut.

as he said. The Nex is an incredible camera with the same sorts of functions as an SLR with in a smaller package!

From these two I would go for the A58 but as mentioned above, the A57 is still a camera to consider
