Hi, I have been looking at the lastolite reflectors, because they seem the branded name I see about mostly. Just spotted something from Ex-Pro which seems half the price, but this doesnt necessarily mean better. Would someone point me in the right direction. I want it for outside portraiture, or try anyway!

Thanks in advance..

thanks:) I meant would you recommend any particular one, ..... ha..

The California Sunbounce looks good, but mine's a no brand Chinese one, still seems to reflect the light well enough

thanks. true, the price of them is worth trying out anyway. will order one anyway.

I just got a cheap one from Calumet, think it was £10. Its one of those fold away ones that springs out when you open it, if you get what I mean? Its silver on one side and white on the other....good quality for ten quid!

To be honest most reflectors will work to some degree, in the past I have used white card, sheets of card covered with aluminium foil, white sheets, sheets of polystyrene and even paper for small jobs.

The ebay 5 in one kits are adequate and work okay for the price, they offer easily carried options although the black would be better if it was a velveteen type material, but it is still better as it is than nothing at all.
