Which macro lens?

As the title says which macro lens should i get?
I have a nikon d80 and have never done macro photography though after browsing through the macro section feel as though i am being drawn to it lol.
I am able to spend up to 300 pounds on such a lens.

Tamron 90mm would be my choice on that budget, would probably be my choice if your budget was higher. Very good optically, as are most macro lenses to be honest.

Personally the sigma 105mm excellent lens for the price

Tamron 90mm for me, although that's just over £300 I think and the Sigma 105mm is just under the £400 mark.
