Doing a rugby shoot today where the team want a kinda history of match day, so shots before during and after the match. I have decided to pinch the 400D from work as a spare body to my 20d but wondered which lens you would put on which body? I have an 80-200L Drainpipe F2.8, 24-105L F4, and the nifty...I thought put the drainpipe on the 20d for the faster fps and focus and the 24-105 on the 400d for candid shots etc. Keeping the nifty to put onto the 20d later for indoors?

What you reckon?

Thanks,

Andrew

I think that sounds like what my head was thinking.
Good choice of lenses on each body.

You will need the extra focal length on the 20D for the match shots.
Then u can get the close players candid shots with the 24-105
And then after the match fire away with the nifty and get some good shots :)

200mm is not really long enough - 300mm would be better!

Thanks - good to know that what I was thinking was ok!
