has the title really. dont know alot off information to help. dont know seating, lighting not much at all so needs to be a good all rounder. its for my canon 350D and ill be hiring it too.

unless you know how far away you are going to be or what the lighting is going to be like difficult to say ,,but a constant f 2.8 for a start ,and maybe a 35-80 ish focal lenth ??? i think i'd be more concerned with the jobsworths though .
 
Maybe a Canon 70-200f2.8 and a tripod as a 350d is rather small for that lens
 
have you checked with the school. Unless you are doing the official photos it could be they will not allow you to. Sorry for mentioning it, just did not want you to pay for hire and be dissapointed
 
yeah its my sons nursery and parents has to sign a slip to say its ok to be filmed pics taken.

350D small i have a grip with it too.

dont want to go in with a massive lens hanging of my face:lol:
