Which is better D20 or 300/350D?

I am currently looking for my first DSLR. I intend on using either of these till June 2011 when I upgrade to a 7D. What are the advantages and disadvantages
for these particular bodies?

I also need someone to recommend me a good place where I can buy used cams (can't do ebay as I'm very skepticle) as my brother leaves for Pakistan(where I currently am) soon and
I have to get the cam shipping to him asap. I hope posting from Pakistan is not against some policy.
dslr and can't decide between these two.
 
Assuming you mean the Canon 20D, 300D and 350D.

I've had a 300D and currently have a 20D and I'd say that the 20D is the better camera as the controls and handling are better for me and it seems to respond a bit faster. I can't really say too much about the 350D, I've never used one.

I know dave, but am on a budget. and will updrage to 7d by mid next year so don't want to spend to much
in case I won't be able to sell whatever I buy . My budget with shipping is 150 GBP. If anyone is selling here, how about it guys and gals?

I would choose a 20d over a 400d any day of the week, 20d is a whole big step up from the 400d, prosumer body, 2nd LCD, 2nd jog wheel, higher ISO, faster shutter, pentaprism...

I would defo go with 20d before any other on your list, they are bigger and heavier than the entry level 350d/400d's though so be aware of that.

The 20D may be old, but it is still a very good camera and can be had for £200 delivered.

I would definitly choose the 20D over the 350D
 
20D for sure, you may get it for around the price you're looking for. 350D (I use one, selling soon) is decent but not a patch on the 20D.
 
20D definitely - you can get them on ebay inside your budget , or get one from MPB with a warranty for arround 200 notes (they had a 30D for 250 last time I looked)

also if you are aiming to part ex or sell on when you upgrade the 20D will hold its value better.
 
Was gonna say MPB, they seem to have decent s/h prices and you can even find a 30D for not much more than your budget. Actually might be worth re-thinking your strategy and get a 40D. One of if not the best on the xxD line from Canon (50D was only a slight improvement and the 60D has taken a step back in some respects).
