Which gloves for photography

I use Thinsulate 40g gloves without finger ends so I can feel the buttons properly. Depends how cold the air is I suppose.

I use some mac wet glove i use with my air rifle, very tight gloves so i can use controls with them on. However when its colder on longer walks like others ill use a pair of thicker gloves and just take them off when i need to!

Well i read some reviews and find that the ends of the thumb and forefinger are thin material and allow the cold in.

So I've cancelled.

I would be interested in feedback from anyone with the Vallerret.

Lowe Alpine Turbine Convertible Mitt, £28. Half-fingers for control, mitt cover for warmth, grippy palms. I wear them with latex mechanic's/surgeon's inners if it's really cold.

I spotted these earlier this year on The Camera Store TV which looked interesting: http://www.theheatcompany.com/en/gloves/heat-3-smart but to be honest, I just use some regular medium weight hiking gloves and keep warm by moving. If I spent more time in a hide and less hiking I would have looked into them more.

I have Sealskinz Dragoneye and theyre pretty good... warm, waterproof and I can operate the camera with them on.
