I'm struggling to decide on which flash to buy for a Canon 600d.

After reading through lots of reviews I seem be more confused now then I was before hand.

I seem to have narrowed it done to two the Yongnuo Speedlite YN-565EX or Nissin Di622

My budget isn't large and these seem to be the best for under £70

If you figure on going down the Yongnuo path, might I suggest getting their flagship YN-568EXII rather than the YN-565. It's only a bit over your suggested budget and I think I'm right in saying that it's the only one in their range to offer a HSS capability. Whether that's important to you, I don't know, but it's a point worthy of consideration.

what do you require it for? on camera? off camera? What would you be lighting.

Thanks will look into the Yongnuo 568, it's for a canon 600d not for any professional use, never owned one before and wanting to get a half decent one to start off with

I can vouch for the YN 565 and the 565 EX II. The are both cracking flashguns and have done me proud. As Noah suggested, the YN 622C's with a 622C transmitter would be the next buy. They're great for doing off camera work, and manually control lighting. Great starter kit for lighting work.

Cheers again think that's the one I'll go for, the yn-565ex on eBay is £66.99 or the exll is £78.59
