Yes
What flash triggers do you guys use in your studios.

At the moment I use my canon speedlite to trigger my stella interfit lights. I have four of these to trigger for my high key stuff.

I have tried using cheap flash triggers and don't find they are good enough. They don't fire everytime.

Any feedback much appreciated.

i have a bunch of pocket wizards, they are expensive....and **** plastic, but they never miss a beat :)

Depending on circumstances, I either PC sync to one light and let it trigger the rest or use a Cactus V4 trigger. I may just be lucky but the Cactus works 100% for me.

Although I have several receivers, when using studio lights I tend to trigger one and let the others slave off it.

You never hear a bad word about the Yongnou RF-602 triggers, and only £30 a set.

I've got a few of them, and sold my Pocket Wizards. I actually prefer the RF-602s and the wake-up feature for dozing Speedlights is a nice bonus

:agree:

Swear by 'em!!

Yet another vote for the 602s. I've used them many a time and they've never let me down.

Also the receivers work just fine with my AAA eneloops whereas the Cactus 4s didn't.

The only two slight problems I've found is that it's not easy to change channels (although you shouldn't need to do that often, if ever) and that the button on the triggers is easily pressed by stuff in your kit bag!

I was doing a shoot once and had my spare trigger in a bag upstairs sitting awkwardly under other kit with it's button depressed and it took me ages to figure out why the flashes were going off randomly or not at all! Ever since, I keep the triggers in a hard plastic box!

i have just received some Yongnou RF-602 triggers from china, and im amazed how well they work and easy to use.

weve got about four sets of cheap and cheerfull Jessops or whatever triggers.
adds up to about half what it would cost for the flash stuff.
theyve been pretty reliable, and if they do fail, bin em and use another set.
the Lencarta ones have been faultless
Ask top Pro's like Garry what they use.
the tupperware box is a good idea we use too.
