thanks for help ben

anyone?

Try doing a search for the Sunpak 383 I think that will work with your camera.

Well on a quick check it looks like this camera has only one contact on the shoe, so all it will do is trigger the flashgun, there wont be any dedicated options or thu the lens options. In short it looks like you can use any flash with it - even dedicated flashguns from other cameras with multiple contacts, as only the one contact (to fire) will be made by the shoe.

It's probably no bad thing, but it does mean that you'll have to set up the flash manually to use it.

The option I'd look for in your position is an older gun like the Vivitar 283 or similar which have a sensor on the front and usually provide accurate auto flash as long as you set the same aperture on the gun as on the camera. Perhaps the Vivitar would look a bit daft on top of that camera, but there will be smaller options if you scout around.

Just check out the trigger voltages of older guns as they're often much higher than modern cameras can cope with and could damage your camera.

Actually shutterman's suggestion is sound as the Sunpak is an auto type gun with a sensor on the front.

does anyone know where i can get one of these and if they're definately safe to use?

I think the 383 is out of production now so it may be hard to find one new. You could check ebay for used ones. I found this article on the 383 which you might want to read...

This guy on fleabay is selling a flash unit specifically for your Fuji, but it looks like it's purely manual flash (No auto sensor) so you would need to have a good basic knowledge of how flash works to get anything out of it.
