which exif software does this

hi all when i hover over a photograph on my works computer a black bar appears at the bottom of the pic telling me the camera used, focal length,shutter speed,but when i do it on my laptop nothing happens,does anyone know what makes this happen thanks as ever ian

Must be some additional software installed. Windows doesn't do this by default.

You can get plug ins for various internet browsers that display the exif data, on Chrome I use Exif Reader and Exif Viewer

Exif Reader superimposes the exif data on the photo, Exif Viewer allows you to right click an image and pops up a sidebar with exif data, histogram, camera details etc
