Yes
Time again for a dual SIM phone so looking at what might be available.

The Lenovo P2 was in my sights, until I read reviews that the screen is fragile and I need something more robust.

Yesterday's launch of the OnePlus 5 didn't do much for me either.

So the OnePlus 3t might be the one to go for but I'd prefer one with 2 sims and a space for a micro SD card.

Yeah, I know it's not easy, but any suggestions from personal experience would be great.

Thanks.

I've just got the OnePlus 3t as my work phone and I gotta say I'm quite liking it. Even though it's an Android phone.

Oneplus 5 has just been launched - due out in about a week I think... https://oneplus.net/uk/

Daughters boyfriend has the Oneplus 3T and used it for 2 sims when he went to USA - absolutely no problems...

Looks like the 3t might be the way to go. The 5 looks too expensive for what it offers over the 3t.

Knowing OnePlus however, the 3t will probably disappear from sale soon enough though...

look at the wiley fox stuff as well.

3t should be around for a bit, the 3 will go first. But then why not, they're a smaller business who won't keep manufacturing old models once they're sold through.
Thanks, that's good to hear. I thought that they removed earlier versions as soon as a new version is out.

Looking at the LG V20 dual sim - seems to be all that I need: dual sim, separate SD card slot, removable battery.

Need a little more research but it's available from GoDualSIM.co.uk for £420.

Any thoughts?

Got myself a Oneplus 3t in January, moving over from Apple. Should have done it much sooner. Love the dual sim feature...I have an O2 sim for calls and texts, and a Talk Talk sim just for data.
The phone itself is excellent.

That's one I'm looking at but would prefer the separate sd card slot. When I'm overseas, I like to have my podcasts / audiobooks on the device rather than downloading them locally.

potential to be great value phones, but my word, the most dire customer service and back up I have ever come across! Never again...

maybe so but money has to be saved somewhere. the wiley fox swift 2 my wife has is easy as good as a £300 samsung and much better than a basic iphone.
it cost £119 delivered from amaon

What do you want? in this world everyone eanst the lowesest price.

I loved the phone thats the thing but it failed. Then all the problems came about in getting it sorted, we have your handset, its somewhere in the repair shop gathering dust attitude and failure to repair or replace and the inability to answer a phone was the last straw with them. No matter how much I pay I expect not to be messed around, how they can survive with that attitude, I will never know.

Ended up with the OnePlus 5 and so far, so good.

Screen is pretty good, nice resolution and colour reproduction.

Quite light to hold but rather slippery.

Headphone jack on the bottom :-(

Will give it a few days to see what's good or not!

Still think the wily fox stuff is worth a good shout. 2 year warranty as well. My missus is loving hers. Weirdly enough she said she didn't want a bigger phone for the weight but my used note 4 is lighter than the swift 2.

I find the headphones jack on the bottom makes more sense when you hold the phone. Goes into your pocket socket up so when you grab it its the right way up anyway
Actually, once I got used to it in the gym this morning, I found that it works quite well. I suppose it's just about familiarity with it.

Fingerprint scanner is really fast - better than previous experiences with it.

Must admit the wily fox scanner is epic as well and oddly enough positioned on the rear of the phone much more usable position .

Op finger print scanner I think wins every speed test I've seen
Probably due to the fact that it takes about 8 records of it and so has many versions to work from.

Enjoying the battery life too :)

Very pleased with the dual SIM implementation after previous experiences with the HTC One dual SIM.
Both sims are 4g, easy to turn one or other off as required.
No slow down noticible despite filling up with audible books, podcasts etc.

Camera is good for a phone but I haven't used it much so far.
