Which course?

Hi all I wondered if anyone could recommend a photography course in the Manchester area? I've just completed & passed an Open University digital photography course, so have all the theory stuffed into my head, but feel I need some practical guidance. I've looked online at several places offering introductory course, but as I'm not rich, don't really want to spend a load of money unless they come highly recommended. Hope someone can help. What were your thoughts on the OU course?

See if you can find a college doing the City & Guilds photography courses. I did one at Preston college and I'd recommend it, and I'm pretty sure there'll be similar courses at one of the many colleges around Manchester.

What were your thoughts on the OU course?

Hi, I really enjoyed the OU course. I started it a few weeks after getting my first dslr & it taught me the basics the camera settings. There is also a fab "community" & you are encouraged to discuss each others photos. I would definitely recommend the course if you're a beginner. Are you thinking of doing it? Debra
