I am getting a camera (posted today) in the next few months, and whilst I can afford it, am trying to spread the pain over a year rather than an immediate payment.

Jessops offer interest free over 12 months (over 1k I think) and I'm wondering if any of you know any other companies which offer this service?

Thanks

hunt through credit cards several do 0% transfer deals. There are a few shops that do it but they tend to "load" the price.

I got mine through Jessops. The price was ok and their 0% was rather good.

I agree, where possible go for the 0% credit card option. Some do it on balance transfers to, so you can extend it beyond a year by getting another card.

I think Jessops do credit via a Company called V12 who I used via Pixmania to pay for my original Sony A300 over 2 years, I looked at the 0% option but they actually charge a lot in "Admin" fees to make some money also if you should not pay it the APR after the year is horrendous, a credit card would be a much better idea!

Jessops are using Clode for the 12 months option. Or at least they were when I got my a580 in December. They seem to be ok. No admin charges I could see and it is paid off fully in the 12 months as you pay a deposit then 11 monthly payments.

Barclays are currently doing a 20 month 0% card :)

Just an update, I have applied and got my M and S CC today, 15 months interest free, which will be just the job. Ideal, just waiting to get my card through, then over Easter, I'l treat myself. Yippee!
