Yes
My wife has a older Canon SLR. I'm considering buying a new one and I'm wondering what the best option for my money is going to be. I need something with high megapixels, because I do a lot of macro and close up shots. I also enlarge my images for printing, and I do some really large canvas prints, I even started to back print on to Plexi Glass this year. Anyway my Website is www.PixelEightArt.com. Up untill now Ive been useing a 7.1 Mp point and shot by fuji (finepix 5700). But I need something thats is much more veristile and has a manual focus. Any Help would be nice, as I really dont know a whole lot about Cameras.

Thanks in advance.

Having an idea about your budget would be useful.

I assume from above you're mostly doing "studio" type work, in which case, if the budget allows, go for a full frame model. There are a few Mk1 5D's around now, and the lenses from your wife's film SLR will work on the 5D.

If your budget won't stretch to that, you need to look at the APS-C range, of which there are many....
