Which book should I buy?

I have the first book and found it very useful, I'm new to Photoshop and the step by step instructions are just what I need to get over the learning curve. I know there are lot of free videos and web pages but sometimes they leave out some "obvious" steps which aren't so obvious to a beginner. :D

Can't comment on the second book though.

The Kelby book is heavier on pictures, but Beenes book probably has more detail, but is indepth and might be harder for inexperienced users.
Both are pretty good.

Thanks for the reply's. I think I will go for the Beene book.

Could you put your view of the book on here, when you get it, I have Scott Kelby's book on re-touching and find it very good, infact it's just what i needed.
