Hi, I am looking to get a new camera bag as my current one is soon going to be too small and is not waterproof. I need something that will hold a Nikon D3000, 50mm lens, 28-300mm lens (and eventually a Sigma 10-20mm or Tokina 12-24mm) plus my Panasonic Lumix lz30, spare batteries, memory cards, filters, remote control. It needs to be waterproof or have a waterproof cover & straps for holding a tripod/monopod. Backpack or sling preferred. All suggestions greatfully received, thanks. :)

have you had a look in the 7dayshop

Amazon do an own brand basics range which includes a decent camera bag.
7dayshop also have a decent range of own brand bags with integrated rain covers.

The Lowepro ProRunner 300AW takes some beating when it comes to useful internal space and carrying capacity for its size. It will take everything you've listed, and a bit more.

The Kata 3N1 is looking like a serious contender, I had a Kata bag a few years ago and it was a great bag.
