Which background/backdrop??

Hi all,
Recently i have been asked to do some portrait pics for family, friends etc and have been editing in a background as i do no have one. This is taking some time. Can you recommend some backdrops/backgrounds from the budget to decents ones

I'm looking at black and White backgrounds. It's what material and frame work that is getting my back up...... So many, any recommendations

I bought a cheapish frame off Ebay and use a white or black PVC shower curtain ... which are cheap as chips ............ works very well

I have a pop up b/ground, but have used an old quilt cover on an ikea curtain pole. I also use a brown furry blanket which looks nice.

I've got the Lencarta frame and backgrounds, used it for the first time the other night, and it was incredibly simple.

I had a couple of clamps with me luckily as the 2 that came with it didn't seem too tight.

I have used a Photodeals pop up which is very good, quick to put up, large, goes against a wall. Downside is some creasing in corners and the train will never be flast as thin material - you fart and you see an indent/crease.

Used vinyl too, No creases, wiped clean too but does take longer to setup and more space. Prefer vinyl.
