Ive always been a Aperture using and trying to get myself over to Lightroom since Aperture is no longer being updated....

BUT I just can't get the grip aperture to me seems a lot easier to work with Files wise and management... But LR seems a tad better with the Processing side of things. Also LR appears a but slower than Aperture..

Ive the Nik Complete collection that I use in Aperture so that why Aperture has done everything I need along with those plug in.. I know the Plug in can be used in LR too..

I am just finding it hard to get the grip I will have to one day won't I since apple no longer going to update it???

Going from one system to another can be a bit of a nightmare. You've invested time and effort learning one system, only to start from scratch , again. I've been with Lightroom since Beta release so I can imagine the having to change to another system would be a bit of a wrench. OK Aperture is not going to be upgraded, but it does what you want, so stick with it. If you think you will eventually need to migrate to Lightroom then take your time.

Lightroom works slightly different to Aperture with regards the way images are organised, but get past that and I think you'll find it not to hard to use.
