Looking to spend £300-400 on a 27" monitor, will connect to MacBook M1 and intend to get a Mac mini pro in next few weeks
These seem ok?

Dell S2725QC

BenQ PD2705U

Any experience with either monitor or suggest something else

I want USB C, both are virtually same price but Dell has 3 year warranty versus 1 year for the BenQ

TIA

Pretty sure BenQ is a rebadged Acer.

Ive such with IIyama for years but not sure they would have one that fits you requirements

Dell tend to make high quality monitors - no experience with either, but if they were a similar spec. and cost, I'd choose the Dell.

Thanks. Not looked at ilyama yet, quick google and don’t believe they are rebadged though used to be

Thanks, I am leaning towards getting the Dell, have had their kit before and liked it, a few years ago, they fixed an XPS laptop a couple of days after I reported a fault.

I bought the BenQ in Nov 2023. Very pleased with it.

I've been happy with my Philips 279P, if it is still available - I've been using it as a 1 cable dock for various MacBooks.

I have twin Dell U2723QE Ultrasharp 27’ 4k monitors, and not only is the image superb, but they are full featured with USB-C with power charge up to 90w, HDMI, twin DisplayPorts and even Ethernet. The list goes on. They really are cracking monitors.

Thanks all for info, decided to get the Dell. Will run the M1 MacBook in clamshell mode and see what it’s like before getting the Mac mini pro.
