Yes
I can get the B+W ND110 for £90ish and the Lightcraft Workshop ND500MC for £60ish.

Reading around seems to suggest that the cheaper one is better than the B+W as it is multicoated whereas the more expensive is single coated and the multicoated B+W is almost £140.

Is it true that the LCWorkshop one is a better or should I spend the extra £30?

Thank you

If you are using other Grads with it, then probably a Lee Big Stopper would be better.

I just got one and it lets me control the sky with the ND Grad first, and then slot in the Big Stopper for the effect.

Alternatively those other two are generally recommended on here.

I used the Heliopan 10 stopper which is very good, think a few people on the forum use them as well.

The best is the Lee big stopper which i managed to get hold of (completely by luck), but good luck in trying to get hold off one, I think there is still a massive backlog.

Thank you I will take a chance on the LCW.

You can get the Lightcraft Workshop one for about £43 if you buy it directly from them.

HoppyUK recommended the Lightcraft ND500, and he's the man that knows.......

:D

I use the LCW ND500 (from Premier Ink) because when I purchased it was about half the price of the B+W and more neutral - B+W is a bit warm, like most of them. I also prefer it because it's around 8.5 stops, rather than a bit over 10 for the B+W.

As far as I know the B+W is uncoated, but to be fair I'm not sure the multi-coating on the LCW makes a fat lot of difference.

Thanks for the feedback hoppy. There appears to be three versions of the B+W - uncoated, single-coated and multi-coated.

Seems like you're right. Thanks for that info. Those coated ones must be new, and it has to be said that B+W's MRC coating is the best there is. And despite the warm colour that they admit to on the website (easily sorted, if a little inconvenient) that must make it the plumb choice for a ten stopper :) Unfortunately, the price is eye-watering... $369 :(

Got the LCW version and like it a lot - seems to be all I need.

Thanks for the help.
