but can somebody please direct me to where I can learn how to add a 800x600, or whatever, picture to my posts ?......:wave:

Dead easy....

see the wee image of a mountain above the reply box (next to the wee globe) click on that and then paste the address of your pic in there and hit OK - job done :thumbs:

.. in my Fish forum, Attach gives a Pop-up box which allows you to search your PC for the pic file.....eg C:/.../My Pictures/Fish/minnow.jpeg

then hit an "Upload" button, and the file uploads to the Forum into an image at the end of my text message. So its my PC direct to Forum

to get this "URL address" does my pic have to be uploaded to an image sharer website first?

Yes it does - you have gallery space on TP that you could use though.

I now use Pix.ie - or there is Photobucket - they both give the option to post your photo at the right size for the forum.
 
You have your own gallery/space here on TP that you can use. If you look up at the top of the page between Forums and User CP you'll see a Galleries button. Click on that and you can upload your pics to there :thumbs:

thanks - I'll do a spot of reading...........but

but frankly you have "an old dog - new tricks" situation here :bang:

I'm not into "Facebook" " Flicker" or whatever

so adding HTML codes is too complex - see the reply to FITP - now that's easy.....:D
