Ok im looking to pop over to brize norton or fairford tomorrow to see if i can shoot a few aircraft, where would be my best bet fof the most flying etc and shooting opportunities?

Any help would be apprieciated

Thanks :D

Andy, RAF Fairford is no long fully operational and your chances of seeing anything is very remote. You do get the occasional U-2 coming in but these are few and far between. At Brize, you will see a lot more traffic, C130s, VC10 Tankers, Tristars etc and a few other goodies. Try parking somewhere along Station Road (A4095 out of the village towards Bampton) on the East end of the airfield.

Hope this helps and have a great day out.

Cosford Air Show on Sunday will be packed with planes. And people unfortunately.

Andy, afraid its pot luck regarding the fast sporty stuff, you may get something doing a few touch-and-go's or maybe a jet-jockey dropping in for a coffee break but its not guaranteed.

Any,
Wherever you got to today, I hope you got some aircraft action.
When I was working near Telford, I used to visit the Mach Loop in N Wales to see fast jet action - 90 mins and you're sat ready and waiting.

Pretty quiet Today at the loop. I'm in the area at the moment but not actually there, however we can usually see or hear anything nearby.

Yesterday a few hawks went through and possibly something like an f16 but I was a little to far away to see clearly.
Welshpool air show tomorrow, so the Vulcan and BBMF will be in the area. I bet the Vulcan in the Mach loop would make an epic shot!

Ok guy's some images to update thread
