Did not know which section to put this in so stuck it here in case

My wife works for a company that has a lot to do with sponcering Ducati and well she might be about to blag 2 VIP tickets for silvertsone moto GP.
Pit passes the lot, now ok this will more than likely be only for the saturday practice/qualifying sessions only, but it will be better as the riders will not be as focused as they will be on race day(well you know what i mean)

So with this in mind we will be buying tickets for the race on sunday, but as the camera will be going with me where will be the most advantagous place to be to get real good action shots??
I will have the 100-400 with me so hopefully reach will not be too much of a problem..

Thanks guys

is it on the gp circuit or the new bike circuit?

youre in for a shock when you get there. they have moved nearly all the decent positions further back (or moved the track away from them)

I take it it will be on the new circuit seeing as they built it for the GP going there.

Never been to silverstone before so the shock factor will probably not bother me, well you know what I mean.

Brooklands, luffield and Copse are your best best for decent, fast paced photos.

Been a few times to Trax, and you can really get some awesome shots if you get there early enough.

Thanks guys

I was looking at copse as you seem to get a lot of the slower corners in + i was thinking maybe the other side of the track too.

Really looking forward to getting into pit lane right up close to the bikes and the riders and pit crews.
