What is the best online place to get photos printed? I'm looking mostly for glossy 4x6s, but I may want something a little bit larger as well (nothing extravagant like posters/canvases, etc.)

Any affordable, quality places?

Oh, UK of course.

I was thinking this too.

Intending on getting a photo printed at about A4 12"x8" for my Dad's birthday.

I work in Jessops and get 60% off printing, so was wondering if its really worth spending the extra getting photos printed off the net, where there might be errors etc.

they are a good price and FAST!!!! when you setup an account with then you get 30 FREE prints!!! do that my friend and you only pay £1,50 postage... cha-ching... lol.. great prints too..

Work in Jessops eh... 60% discount eh... I can feel a new best mate comming on...:naughty:

Photobox is probably your best bet for 6x4's or 7x5's in quantity as they are one of the cheapest. Quality is good but not excellent. If you want Quality use Loxley Colour, I do for anything I print (only print the best ones), it's a pro lab but anyone can use them, 8x10's are about £1.80ish IIRC

Can you explain how Loxley Colour produces better quality prints than Photobox?

Is it the type of paper, the colour, etc.?

Edit: Ah, it looks like it's more presentation-wise. i.e. frames, canvas, and the such

The consistency they achieve colourwise. If you send the same photo to them three weeks running you will get three identical photos, plus if you have a colour managed system they will look as you intended. Photobox has slightly more variation both from the master and from week to week.
