Hi, in a couple of weeks, I'm doing a shoot of a friends kids, not having a studio to use, I'm hiring a village hall, so to make best use of it, I'll do my kids and my sisters kids too.

I only have 2 x 500w flash heads and my mate wants high key shots, so coupled with the fact that I'll be shooting 3 or 4 kids together (or more), I'm thinking I need more lighting.

Anyone recommend anywhere to hire it near shropshire? Or better still, anyone wanna come along and bring lights?

Do calumet require a deposit to the full value of the equipment, and do they take it off your card then refund it?

Could you just not hire a proper studio for an afternoon, that way you'll get backdrops, maybe props, lighting, triggers etc all in one place. I've never done it but when I checked local ones for hire they wasn't actually crazy money.

That's preferable, just can't find one near me and don't want to drag my kids, my mates kids and my sisters kids too far for a shoot, so best alternative I could think of was a village hall.

I Have some lighting and a couple of backdrops, just could do with a bit more :-)

Unless you have a trade account they do require a deposit on a card. Usually about £2-3k for say £4k of lighting equipment

Edit:
Meant to say, they also do a pick up Friday return Monday for 1 days hire charge which is useful. They will van the equipment to your local Calumet from Drummond St ready for you to collect, but give them a couple of days notice of what you want.

Good luck
