Its been a few years but I'm finally finding some time to get back into photography again. But I've forgotten where I used to buy all my chems from! and film for that matter! can you put some names down?

For chemicals I've used:

Bristol Cameras
Speedgraphic
Firstcall Photographic
Nik & Trick

All the above sell film as well; but if I'm buying Ilford film I usually buy from Mathers of Lancashire who are usually the cheapest.

It depends whether you're near any suppliers and can save the delivery costs? If its B&W chamicals you're after, I understand that Wex Photographic stock Ilford chemicals if you have a branch near you, or Ilford themselves can supply their own chemicals. Some Kodak chems seem to be in short supply, particularly Xtol developer which I'm looking for, so maybe worth taking into account when deciding what to go for.

I bought my last lot of Ilford Rapid Fixer from the Imaging Warehouse, quite a bit cheaper than others I could find.

cheers all , will look them up. AG was the one i was trying to think of!

I always use Process Supplies in London as I can collect, they’re not open at the weekend though.

Analogue Wonderland have a huge array of films and chemicals too

I had the same issue a few weeks ago, luckily I remembered I had some metol and sodium sulphate from earlier experiments so made up an emergency batch of D-23!

just seen the price of 5x4 velvia! pass the defibrillator, stat!

Things have definitely gone up in the last couple of years

The Bellini chemistry supplied through Nik & Trick is brilliant.
For film it's worth shopping around, different films will be at best price through different shops

One name I haven't seen mentioned so far is Silverprint.
