I'm hoping someone can give me a heads up on where to get cheap, but sturdy flash / umbrella brackets in the UK.

I already have one of the interfit XS brackets, so not looking for anything fancy like that....just basic ones will do

Got two of these the other day very versatile fit any light stand, even the free ones Dave (digital clarity) gave me.
