Where to buy newborn photography props

Hello,

I've been spending some time on the Internet searching for newborn photography props supplier and Im having a hard time looking here in the UK as most of them are base in the US.
Can someone kindly point me where I can get some props beside eBay.
And if you are a newborn photographer can you tell me who and where do you get your props in the UK.

Ever leaf is the one I visit a lot.
Another UK supplier is newbornbabyposing.com
They have a very extensive range of props and general info.

Plenty of hat boxes, trunks, suitcases, blankets etc in tkmax.

Charity shops and car boot sales are always worth a look too
 
Have you tried using duck tape to keep the little darlings still? Wont need so many props then.

And staples. Don't forget the staples.


Mothercare etc surely have a good range of baby stuff - and stuff that babies would normally be around!

@Stumpy, what do you mean by duct tape? Use it on the baby?
 
If you want all of those crochet type props like hats and things you can get loads on ebay.

Then if you search for things like rustic suitcase, wooden crates etc you will get all the usual bits.

If I was being serious I would have suggested six inch nails! :-}

But seriously, just bean bags covered with soft blankets (Different colours to suit). The Mums want to see little Johny's smile not your props. Don't waste your money.
Tip; Have the freshly washed blankets wrapped in cellophane and pull one out at the last minute, nice and new looking and smelling.
 
Pleeeeease don't get any of the daft oversized dopey hats :lol:
