Where to buy Lightroom 3?

I'm looking for a copy of LR3, but nothing of dubious origin. Over Christmas I thought someone mentioned offers of around £140, but now it seems to be around £200 most places. Anyone know of any deals going?

Or should I wait for LR4 to come out?
 
As LR4 is in the pipeline, LR3 may soon be on offer at more outlets but the Amazon price pointed out by Brian is pretty good - as low as I've seen it.
 
If you get LR3 you should be able to upgrade for a reduced amount (not guaranteed, but they have done this for version 2 and 3).
 
£95 for a brand new copy? It would be rude not to get one really. Thanks for sharing. :thumbs:

It's available through Currys and PCWorld (on-line) at £95 too. £99.99 in store.
But I spotted the Amazon deal this morning and snapped one up.

I guess they are clearing stock in anticipation of LR4's release.

It does mean I'll have to go back to Windoze though. After a 1 hour W7 update on my new laptop last night, I realised why I loved Ubuntu so much! Not sure I'd trust LR under WINE, unless anyone can tell me it's 100% stable!

It is still in early stages of development I believe. I've got it on the other laptop, but it's not the most stable of products! Frequent crashes unfortunately. Not been able to get anything installed to improve it yet.

It does look very much like LR :D

Anyway, my copy of LR3 arrived this morning :thumbs:
 
I was thinking Aftershot pro, there's a thread on the PP forum.
 
Ordered mine from Amazon yesterday lunch time and chose the 1st class delivery option. It arrived this morning, which was nice.
 
I just received an email from Adobe, to say 50% off LR3 until 5th Feb - £118.80

Good to anyone who can't wait a few days for delivery from Amazon and save £23:D [or indeed can't purchase online for any other reason]. PCWorld also have it at £95 collect at store, £99 in store. Some of the other dealers are now selling it at £99 eg CameraWorld.

If someone wants to download the trial (of LR3) now, the serial that arrives from Amazon will work on it and so there will be no necessity of a reinstall.
