Where to buy infrared filter for camera conversion

I've just picked up a bargain mint Nikon D70 for a few quid and want to have a go at converting it to infrared myself.

Apart from the companies offering conversion services who usually charge $100/£100, where can I buy a filter?

I've heard these can be picked up for a few pounds if you know where to buy from.

If it was me, I'd drop Jo a line at Protech repairs. I know they do the conversions, but they were really helpful to me and seemed very approachable via email. Email address is on their website. If they can't sort you, I'm sure they could point you in the right direction.
