Anyone have good suggestions to where to get a Neutral density filter from for my Sigma 10-20 88mm size.

also looking for a graduated ND filter

thanks, I looked on their site but I need 88mm and the screw in filter was either 86 or 95,

so what do I do?

Sure your 10-20 isn't 77mm? It is in Nikon fit.

Good spot! I'm sure it's 77mm, may just be a typo. It was on my Canon fit.

You can either get screw on (circular ND grads) or slot in type from Lee Filters, Cokin, Hitech etc. You'd need to buy the filters themselves (usually resin sheets), a filter holder and a 77mm lens adaptor ring...

ah silly me, i was looking at the new 3.5, you are right it is 77mm, i must be drunk.

So with the square filter I could buy an adapter for my 10-20 and also one for my 50mm prime and use the same filter right?

Yep, the holder will be the same, just different adaptor rings required if the nifty fifty isn't a 77mm. Same filters to be used too...

that sounds like a good option as I want the 10-20 filter for stills but the nifty fifty as a filter for video during the day at wide apertures

you can buy the adaptor rings on fleabay for very little cash, not genuine cokin ones but I have a load and they identical in everyway, at the end of the day it's only a threaded ring

Calumet are good for Lee Filters as I bought my ND grad set from them and were £106.35 compared to warehouse express which were £141.99

I too have the 100mm Lee filters ND'S and 150x100mm ND grads filters.

I brought the starter set. You will need to purchase adapter rings to fit each size lens.

Be sure to tell them you got the Sigma 10-20mm. Something to do with it being "extra wide angle".

Lee are in short supply so your probably have to shop around. I just brought a single one and tried about 6 comps before finding one. I think you should be ok getting a starter set though.

They do 2 types of starter sets. One comes with a pro Glass ND filter and the other comes with the plastic type. The pro glass one is about £140. The cheaper is about £110.

Try Premier Ink Supplies....Great little company in Leamington Spa. They carry all that sort of stuff at competitive prices..

ok cheers all, seems like it is more expensive than I first thought, might have to just go for one to start with.
