Having just packed up all my Digital Kit into a box ready to be shipped off to its new home tomorrow. I'm looking around on where to get film for my impending Bronica Purchase.

Where in the UK Is cheapest for Film generally? Mainly looking for Provia 160 and Acros 100 i think, both should yield relatively grainless results providing a good exposure :)

Where do you all get film? I find it surprising we have a Dev'ing Sticky but no Film equiv!

Personally I like to buy from my local supplier (silverprint in my case). Not too much more than the cheapest and keeps a shop I can go to get bits when I need it. Otherwise there is mailshots, AG photographic, 7dayshop and a few others.

Depending on what you're after Boots have had a 3 for 2 offer on film for about four years & the stocks include various Ilford films. Worth a little look?

I tend to use AG Photographic for good film (especially B & W) and Poundland for my supply of cheapo Kodak colour film.

Just ordered a pack of three rolls of 35mm Acros 100 for £11 inc delivery off eBay ~ it's definitely worth looking around! Seller was called "Process-Supplies" if anyones interested.

Process supplies are a proper shop as well as eBay, never used them myself though. I tend to stick to AG-Photographic

I usually do myself actually! Just couldn't resist that utter bargain on the Acros 100!

I used AG photographic to sort a family member out with film and chems recently ......prices, availability and delivery where pretty good tbh.

Bought from Process Supplies in person, it's quite a big shop in terms of space they occupy but not a shop you visit to look at - mostly just a service counter really. They are in Mount Pleasant in Farringdon.

Prices on stuff are decent and a good place to check, and they honoured a slight misprice on some medium format I was interested in.

I buy all my chemicals from them aswell, value was undeniably the best out there & I looked pretty hard :}

Yeah the prices on products from Process Supplies seem pretty reasonable. It's pretty far for me to actually visit but I'll be browsing the other products they have listed on eBay after that rather impressive value on the Acros 100!

Used to be 7dayshop for everything pretty much but now not so competitive. Having said that, they still have the odd bargain so it's worth keeping an eye on their site.

Another vote for discountfilmsdirect who deliver promptly and have excellent prices.

Usually eBay for me. If its b&w I use FP4 in both 35 and 120, 5 rolls for around £19 delivered. If colour I would again have went to eBay for Portra, however, I have recently started using Fuji Pro 400H and find it as easy to buy a box of 5 from Jessops for £22.
