Hello,I'm just wondering where the cheapest place is to buy photoshop cs4?

The cheapest legal way is to qualify for the Student version. I paid £150 for an Open University course and I've saved over £1000 in student/educational software.
 
How much does the student version work out at?

Yup. Anything that can be counted to a proper higher qualification (in this case a BSc) makes you eligible. That course is based on one of the units of the course I used to tutor for the OU.
 
There is another thread about this and apparently you can now qualify if one of your kids goes to school !!
 
For OU courses, what ID do you send as proof?

I have been studying with them for a couple of years and somehow missed out on using student discounts! :|

The last couple of times I've bought educational software I've used my xxx@student.open.ac.uk account and that's been good enough. Otherwise they'll want a copy of your course transcript, showing that you're currently studying - and sometimes a scan of a photo-ID. The company I tend to use is Pugh.

How about supply teachers? My laptop is essential for my work. Most classrooms only have Smart / Promethean boards. How would a supply teacher go about sorting this? i.e. do I need an educational email?

EDIT: I've just been looking about the site. Seem we only need proof. I' sure my QTS cert and supply ID will be enough. Cheers OP.
