A mate and I have 3 nights to get away and take photos.

We're happy with landscapes, buildings, animals, people ... Anything really!

Let's have some ideas for locations please.
Ideally in uk or 2-3 hours flight time.

Let me know and feel free to add any if your own images to inspire me.

Marton Mere, plenty of wintering birds. Leighton Moss & lake district (as suggested by Melvyn) then up to Scotland.
 
Aye, the Lake District is well up at the top of the list - know the area well so could easily pass a few days walking and shooting!

Anymore ideas welcomed!!!!
