New Zealand for me, the bizarre thing is i've always fancied moving to New Zealand,(it'll never happen) a couple of months ago I was looking at houses on the internet, bay of plenty seemed to be a place i'd like to live, this turns out to be the place in the world where my surname is the most popular

Says Australia for me,fair enough, but for where it is most popular in the UK it says "BARNOLDSWICK , NORTH WEST , UNITED KINGDOM", which is strange for a Highland-Scots name :lol:

For my surname UK is most popular, but region is TASMANIA , AUSTRALIA

Not sure how accurate it is TBH - have they a database of all the surnames from all the countries of the world? I doubt it.

That said, entering my surname says that 'Top Cities' include Aberdour and Burntiland, Fife, Scotland which is literally 5 miles down the road from where my grandad (and passed my surname down the male side) was born and his family always lived before moving down south for work....
 
UK for my name (barber) infact the northwest where i live

aparently top city for my name is altrincham, which is close enough to macclesfield which is wherre my dads side of the family live

Molyneux's a French surname but It's popular In Liverpool. There were Lord Molneux's who owned land and stuff like Croxteth hall here too I think.

I've discovered that my name is most popular at Jessops, especially when it's on my credit card :lol:
