Where have you been thrown out of?

It Italy I was taking pictures of an interesting old building- till a police officer came up and said, no pictures to me. Then I realised that it was the police headquarters- no joke.

Lap dancing bar on a lad's weekend.....:nuts::eek:

Didn't want a lap dance off the IMO "less than picturesque" lady who had badgered me for an hour. She was trying to get me to pay 30 quid for 5 minutes boredom!

We'd only gone in there as it was the only place left open (honest guv'nor :naughty:)

Best to add: No photos involved!!!

so your the one i saw taking pictures of the front window of "la sensa" in the dirty raincoat :nono:

oh and thats true by the way i did see a guy taken pictures of manikins in sexy lingerie

ROFL  Not me, Guv! Honest ;)

Nope, I only got as far as outside House of Fraser on the ground floor, although I was trying to get an arty shot with the reflections in the window :)

Nothing to do with photography. We just could not stop laughing at all the "kit".
were the Mars Bars a funny shape then?

Ah - the old Marianne Faithfull joke!

There were lots of things that were funny shapes and needed batteries.

I was banned from Harrods. I used to smoke and they tried to charge me £1 to take a leak in their posh loos, so I lit a ciggy on my way out as some sort of protest. One of the security guards was too excited at this point to have seen me with the ciggy and said "your banned, don't come back" :nono:

I got thrown out of a car dealership in Epsom after a "disagreement" with one of the directors over where I`d parked a recovery truck in their yard wth a smashed up motor on the back while I was trying to find out where they wanted it dropped off.

After that, I took great delight in dropped all manner of annihilated motors - three wheels missing, and the all favourite "fire brigade specials.." right outside the main gate blocking the roadway.

As the owner of the firm I was definitely the wrong person to annoy, as those were the strict instructions to all my drivers too...

Oh yeah! I was thrown out of a strip club too.

I had no intentions of even going in there but I'd have had to stand on my own on the magaluf strip! So we went in, sat down, and a lady came up to me and said "What are you drinking?" and I said "uh.. nothing, I just came in her because all my mates did and I'd have been left on my own..." so she told me to leave as it's for paying customers only.

Fine by me, I didn't want to be in there, pointless!
Telling a kid to go in a candy shop and look at all the yummy candy, and they can pay to hold the candy but that's it.

Turkey.

I got chucked out for having a "Professional" Camera. It was an Old Canon film job with a range of lenses up to 400mm. They took a dim view of me pitching up for a week's holiday. Odd.

The customs blokes were getting really rather iffy and I did wonder when some mysterious white powder was going to make an impromptu appearance from the bottom of my bag. There were all sorts of noises involving some some significant amounts of money until we both took out British Police Warrant cards and told them to cut the C*** and go and fetch their boss before we called the British Consulate.

I was allowed to collect my camera from customs on the way home, which incidentally looked like a branch of Dixons!

i never get thrown out, i get invited :p:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:
self banned from the rest of this thread for gratuitous overuse of the new smiley :bonk:

Funnily enough me and the missus had a wander around Kedleston Hall last week, seeing the NO PHOTOGRAPHY signs at the entrance the lens cap stayed on my D90 and the missus's LX2 .

All around the hall everyone of the National Trust staff had a good look at us to make sure we were obeying the rules.

As we were about to leave one member of staff came marching across and demanded to know if we had been taking pictures.

Of course mate, thank you very much. As we headed for the exit.

I wish I had took a picture of his face.........priceless !

Never been thrown out of anywhere because of me camera ... :'(

And apart from the odd pub in the past nothing else really. Although i
have been escorted off southport beach a few times....

Mainly for reversing up the sea wall......... How rock'n'roll is that .... :p

Oh, and i got stopped on there the other week for letting my daughter
drive the car. The beach patrol pulled up and said 'No learners on the
beach'........ I just said 'she isnt a learner, she doesnt have a licence'...
