It's been a couple of years but I've finally dug out the wista and will be getting back into things again. Where do people source their chemicals from and 5x4 film these days?

It can depend on where you are in the country, since carriage may vary quite a bit. Ag Photographic do both chems and films, as will Silverprint and Firstcall. New(er) kids on the block include Nik & Trick, plus I've had chems from Sharif Photographic, and both of them have an eBay presence. I'm sure there are others, icluding Ilford/Harman who will sell you their film and chems directly. And enjoy it! :)

I tend to stick with Nik and Trick, partly down to price, partly down to the fact I've gotten to know them online over the last couple of years and I like to support those I can see are passionate about it.
They do do some odd chems and films though, like their c41 kit from bellini, but it works a treat :)

I also have used AG, NIck & Trick, Silverprint and Speed Graphic. Chemistry is generally similar in pricing and (for me) lasts a while, so I tend to buy it with whoever's got a good film deal going on and chuck some film in to make the order more exciting to receive :)

Yeah n&t have some interesting b&w films. They've currently got a liquid diafine that if I didn't have loads of pyro developer to get through I'd like to try.

Maco direct online although I do live on the continent.

I have however recently found another online outlet in France that has very competitive prices for some products ( film, more so than chems) but they don't sell internationally.

thanks all, Nik and Trick is a new one to me but i remember the other names now :) Thanks.

Ashley, if youre still coming into London I'd recommend Process Supplies, I use them for a lot of my film photo needs. https://www.processuk.net/

Personally I wouldn't give Nik and Trick my trade.

I’ve only quite recently heard of N&T myself.

You obviously have good reason to not want to trade with them.....Care to share?

I'm Notts based so tend to use Morco as can collect, but they're fairly well priced & super efficient. Another vote for Nik & Trick too.
Thanks Simon. I'm Notts too so will be good for me to collect too. They seem to have a good selection as well.

I'm new to all this so have only used 2. WEX because at the time they where the cheapest for HP5+ so got Chems at the same time for convenience.

But recently bought some Rodinal from Speedgraphic.
