Hi All, I've used a WD My Book for a few years now as my principal backup destination using SynchBack SE with no problems. It is only 320Gb and is beginning to fill, so I'm looking to the (near) future. I know I can get a 1TB or 2TB drive to replace it but do I just start again and back up what's currently on the HDD? It just seems odd to be partially filling the new disc with info I've already got backed up, and that's assuming that everything on that disc is still on the HDD! And what do I do with the old WD?
Any thoughts

Excuse the techno ignorance of the aged if this is as dumb as it looks now I've written it out! and thanks in advance

I now have four backup HDs as they got bigger over the yrs.. HD2 as HD1 +MORE, HD3 has hd2+more and on..

You have the space.. nothign wrong with three copies..as to what you do with the 320gb .. take to a relatives for safe keeping.. then if yer house burns do.......

Thanks guys,, That's what I thought, but just wanted to check out with the experts. Guess my son will be getting a My Book!
