1, what do you shoot with? Sony Alpha 350
2, why did you choose that system? price, availability at the time and capabilities
3, what is that current system lacking for you? nothing
4, if you could start over again what would you go for? probably the same or a nikon with similar spec.

1, what do you shoot with?
Canon 50D, 400D backup

2, why did you choose that system?
Started with a 300D because it felt better and was cheaper than the Nikon equivalent at the time, also I noticed there was a bigger market in second hand lenses. Upgraded to a 40D for the bigger buffer, shutter speed etc, then again to the 50D when the 40D shutter broke (but also for the higher res, features etc).

3, what is that current system lacking for you?
For the price, nothing, but as I am mostly outdoors the better weather proofing and AF of a 7D or 1D series would be nice. I'd quite like to get a 5D for the product shoots I do.
Otherwise, I'll be getting a weatherproof point and shoot, for those times you don't want (or aren't allowed) to carry a big heavy backpack of DSLR kit. (beach, stadiums etc).

4, if you could start over again what would you go for?
Knowing what I know now, I'd stick with Canon, just for the range of lenses available. Some people think the grass is always greener on the other side, but the manufactures just leapfrog each other.

1, what do you shoot with?
Pentax K-7 / Grip, DA*, DA and FA zooms and primes.

2, why did you choose that system?
Camera handling, flexibility and features. Image quality, build quality, durability with top environmental sealing (both body and DA* and WR lenses).
In body image stabilisation works with any lens old or new.

3, what is that current system lacking for you?
Depending on the lens fitted autofocus can be a little on the slow side.
Icing on the cake would be some new longer focal length Pentax lenses.

4, if you could start over again what would you go for?
A high probability I would opt for Pentax again.
The only other camera that I find 'interesting' at the moment is the 7D.
;)

1) What?
I shoot Nikon - D2x body with selection of mainly Nikon lenses and Nikon flashes

2) Why?
Best bang for buck at the time (bought a D200 originally), better weathersealing than Canon (on D200 as opposed to 30D/40D) plus that little red flash on the grip is the dog's bits - it's all about design and looking like you have a proper camera :D Use a D2X these days, which is perect and only cost £700, not much for a pro-body with 13mp. Used to use Canon but couldn't stand the bad handling and crappy build quality on the mid-range bodies.

3) Change?
Good value long primes; Canon has the 400mm f/5.6 (£1050) for but Nikon the nearest thing is either the f/4 300mm (£900) or the f/2.8 400mm, which is £6000. Otherthan that, a new D2x variant - there's no gripped, pro-spec DX format camera available. A D300 in a pro-spec, weathersealed, kick-ass body would be a godsend with advanced high ISO performance.

4) Start Again?
Probabl go FX if I had the cash; a D3 with 17-35mm, 24-70mm, 70-200mm and f/4 300mm. I'd keep my flash setup regardless

1, what do you shoot with? Nikon
2, why did you choose that system? Had a F301 years ago, and Nikon felt right when handling
3, what is that current system lacking for you? It's owned by a rubbish snapper :D
4, if you could start over again what would you go for? Nikon

1, what do you shoot with?

Panasonic Lumix GF1

2, why did you choose that system?

Smaller, lighter than DSLR's

3, what is that current system lacking for you?

Nothing at the moment

4, if you could start over again what would you go for?

Canon Probably, i dunno really i find that DSLR's are too bulky so will prob stick with GF1

1, what do you shoot with?
Sony

2, why did you choose that system?
Long term (30 years) Minolta user. However, when Sony bought Minolta's DSLR division & I later was looking for a new body I did consider/try others but was happiest with the A700 (even though it was dearer than a 40D).

3, what is that current system lacking for you?
An A700 upgrade? ;)
Not much really for my needs - would like to see improved AF, a bit more high ISO etc. - pretty much the same answers that I imagine everybody wants whatever system.
Basically content with what I've got though.

4, if you could start over again what would you go for?
This week, if I had the budget perhaps a Canon 7D.
In a few months who knows what Nikon or Sony might launch - it's a moving target ...
