Whats your most favorite track/song EVER?

Pick just one song?

Well, as "Behind Blue Eyes" has already been picked, I'd have to go for...

"Can you see the real me?" from Quadrophenia

can someone help me embed this please ?

I went to see Kraftwerk in concert back in the early 80s, my mate went to the toilet at the beginning of one track and was away for over 10 minutes....when he returned they were still paying the same tune

Depending on my mood it'd be a toss up between Lust For Life by Iggy Pop and Stairway to Heaven by Led Zep.

Too many to list really. It really does depend on my mood as to what is best at the time.

For me it's got to be, The Boss and Melissa Etheridge doing an accoustic version of Thunder Road.

Aphex Twin.... I remember seeing this video when it was first released after a night out and a few too many drinks. It's stuck in my mind ever since.

Tough decision however Roads by Portishead sticks in the mind somewhat....this live version from Roseland NYC is a cracker. Beth Gibbons voice is just sublime yet haunting at the same time. :)

Now that IS a great track. I love all early Simple Minds stuff, even got to see them live once in Hammers***h.

The Jam - That's Entertainment, purely because it is one of the most descriptive pieces of songwriting ever. It perfectly describes '80's Thatcher's Britain. The lyrics for this are possibly part of my next Tattoo.

OROasis - Rocking Chair, i just love the sound of Liams voice in this song, rocky but not whiney, and the lyrics are amazing, and this is one of those Oasis B-Sides that are better than most bands can release as an A-Side or into the charts.

Both Aphex Twin and Chris Cunningham at their best...check out Rubber Jonny...thats equally scary! :cuckoo:

I'm finding it very difficult to single one out as I have too many 5* tracks that I cant stop listening too...So I've selected two off my iPod at random...

Timber Chainsaw Massacre by Hexstatic - Remix/ Mashup of Coldcut's "Timber" - An absolute Audio Visual Masterpiece and perfectly timed...and dont sound too bad either :D

Luke Vibert - Space Race

Just reminds me of a pivotal point in my life and brings me so many happy memories of friends and not a care in the world...

Anything by ATB always good but Beach Vibes off the Moving Melodies album is awesome.

Didn't realise they were still on the go , just had a listen on you tube , great track & title. :D

Since Sweet Child o Mine has been mentioned, my all time fav, I think I would have to say Amazed by Ben Mills or Never Say Goodbye by Bon Jovi.

Sorry don't know how to upload utube on here :bonk:

Some great music on this thread! 'She sells Sanctuary' is a belter, newyorkaddict mentioned the Jam's wonderful 'That's Entertainment' as being representative of 80s Britain. Agreed, as was Matt Johnson, aka The The, with his 'Infected' album and this track in particular:
