Whats your late night snack?

Cheers Terri/Ruth. I might give it another crack soon

cold leftover pizza from the dodgy greeks in the village...

I only ever eat home made pizza, and it's quite involved, so unless there's a leftover slice, it's too longwinded for a late night snack :)

Home made here too - bread maker is fantastic for the dough.

have you ever tried to make it without the machine? there is IMO a huge difference.

Got a Panasonic bread maker brill for pizza dough! Bread is ace too

On the subject of home made pizza's has anyone got a method for cooking them so that when you take a bite of a slice, all the topping doesnt slide off the passata/tomato base, hang down and burn your chin/lip to buggery whilst you're left holding a slice of pizza base?

Late night snacks: small bag of twiglets or handful of dry-roasted buts or if particularly decadent, pack of Mr Porky pork scratchings.

That's not about how you cook them, but about how you eat them.
Try not attempting to eat the entire thing at once? :exit: :)

Less tomato topping - almost transparent. Dang! Need pizza!

Used to make "Balti" pizzas yonks ago and, apart from the mentioned problem, they were flippin gorgeous.

It's definitely on the menu at chez moi this evening :D
2 to cook, and a bunch of dough to freeze.

I'm trying to be good! However, there's an inch or 2 of very nice bread, some butter and some crunchy peanut butter just waiting to be washed down with some "narnie milk" (banana Nesquik). Since it's a teaching night for mrs Nod, I reckon I'm allowed the treat! Besides, we're going to Carluccio's for dinner tonight - neither of us wants to cook.

Roasted Monkey Nuts are my go to thing at the moment.
I find I eat less that standard dry roasted as there is more effort involved to de-shell them.
Amazing when heated up in the oven too.
